Welcome to the Perranporth Surf Life Saving Club website
Boxing Day Swim 2009

54 swimmers
braved the cold Atlantic sea on Boxing Day morning, at the first Officially "official" swim that the club has held.

Members and friends joined together in a mad dash to the water watched by the many people walking on the beach.

Our past festive swims have always been a few friends taking a dip to celebrate Christmas.

This year the club decided to make the swim open to anyone and we were pleased to have local residents join us.

Mulled wine, mince pies and hot chocolate were served in the clubhouse afterwards.....and the showers were mercifully hot !

Thanks to Nikki Agass for refreshments.
